What is the difference between Wing Chun and Wing Tsun?

Quite simply, the spelling/pronounciation.


There is Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese Chinese.

What is the difference between Wing Chun and Wing Tsun?

Reply:If you're involved in the Wing Chun community, the differences are amazing! But they're just different lineages that use different spellings to differentiate. As with lineages, each one thinks they're the "true" lineage. Wing or Ving, Chun or Tsun. All the same.

Actually in China you have Mandarin and Cantonese dialects, so that there is Kung-fu in the north and Gung-fu in the south. So there might be a difference in the Chinese pronounciation of Wing chun and Wing Tsun - but they're both the exact same style of fighting.
