Is there one grandmaster over all of wing chun or are there different ones over each division in china?
As with most martial arts communities that have been around for more than a few years, the Wing Chun community is deeply divided. So no, there's no one grandmaster over all Wing Chun in China; several of the others wouldn't recognize his authority. And even if WC were united in China, there would be any number of spinoff organizations all over the world.
It's kind of the nature of the beast: a bunch of martial artists get together and a fight breaks out.
