Which Martial art should I learn Bak Mei, Wing Chun, or Muay Thai?

I want to learn a practical martial arts but also one that has forms or katas that look good that I can show off.

Which Martial art should I learn Bak Mei, Wing Chun, or Muay Thai?
Showing off is not within the spirit of Bushido. Martial Arts are based on respect: for your self, your teachers AND oponents. If you want to learn to defend your self anyone will do. If you consider Muay Thai be prepared to do some bliding, its a tough one. Wing Chun is good for self defense, you will not go into the ring with it though. Good Luck!
Reply:Everybody Wing Chung tonight.
Reply:Muay Thai is the most practical of the three you mentioned, but if you want to show off then go with Wing Chun.
Reply:maybe you need to work out what it is you actually want first?if you want to show of join a circus.
Reply:Martial arts isn't for you. Take up ballet or something. You're more into showing off than actually learning self defense or how to fight.
Reply:i think you should take them all. muay thia doesnt look real flashy but it does work if you are in kicking range of some one. wing chun is great for learning sensitivity wich is the key to success on the klinch. i dot khow what you can use bak mei for maybe its good for a show off
Reply:I don't think Muay Thai has forms. It is unsophisticated but brutal.

I know nothing about Bak Mei. Wing Chun is where Bruce Lee started.
Reply:of the3 id take bak mei.... its a suthern kung fu.... issint it?
Reply:If you want to look good and show off just take up Modern WuShu. It is specifically designed for showing off!
Reply:In my opinion, Muay Thai teaches some good timing, footwork, practical skills, great knees and elbows. Wing chun has some good ranges and has forms... for more practical defense, Muay Thai, I like a little more for the practical side. Bak Mei has forms and such. I have not met anyone who has studied Bak Mei, so I would encourage you to check it out. It was proven to be practical back in the day... not so sure now.

If you want to show off, Modern Wushu is your best bet... with the flips and cool looking moves. TKD is also more flashy and has the forms and such.
Reply:It all depends on what reason you want to learn a martial art. Sport? Self-defense? Muay Thai has no kata. I don't know about the other two, but all forms of karate have kata.
