Quick learning timeframe.
Doesnt use alot of high fancy kicks.
Useful for persons of smaller stature.
You dont need to use alot of force for the techniques to work.
If you practice everyday you will always be fit.
If you study long enough and diligently you can gain Spiritual Fulfillment.

Reply:Yes! it doesn't require strenght to be effective.I like wing chun cause you can use it enclosed spaces. People say that it has no power well I have to disagree with that.Even if it didn't There are plenty of techniques to use to get out of some hairy situations.
Wing Chun is not a sport type of martial arts.It's designed more for combat and self defense.Another cool thing about wing chun is you can use it even if you're 70 years old. Yip Man is the proof
of that. He was a very small thin man.

Reply:Wing Chun is one of the few traditional arts I've seen that are effective. It does lack power as everything is shoulder punches but the speed can make up for that.
**There are many different stories about the origins of Wing Chun and only one says it was created by a woman. It is unlikely that it actually was but that story is the most entertaining.
